Filminstitutets program på Cannes Marché du Film online

Årets filmfestival i Cannes blev som bekant inställd. Vad som däremot kommer äga rum är en onlineversion av den till festivalen tätt knutna filmmarknaden: Marché du Film d22 – 26 juni. På filmmarknaden är Filminstitutet medarrangör till flera webinarier. För att ta del av dessa behöver man inte vara ackrediterad till marknaden.

 

Creating the New Normal: Intersectionality in the Film Industry

Monday, June 22, 17.00 – 18.00 CET
Hosted by the Marché du Film, co-hosted by the Swedish Film Institute.
The panel will discuss paths toward an inclusive future for the film industry, where the creativity and business acumen of all its stakeholders is fully realized, without prejudice and bias. Panelists will weigh in on the state of the industry, talk about creative ways to move forward in the rapidly changing cultural and entrepreneurial landscape, and follow up on the progress of the 50/50 by 2020 movement.

Pandemic Production: Lessons Learned in the Nordics

In the midst of the Coronavirus global pandemic, film and TV productions restarted (safely) earlier in the Nordics than the rest of the world. Learn from directors and producers how their shoots have resumed safely, as they discuss case studies of how exactly they have met the challenge of new health, safety and social distancing measures, as well as new insurance and financing challenges.
